Radio Intro 00:20

the radio, it crackles into life the weather forecast tells me that I have to leave tonight a blackened gown, a gentle cautious smile a glowing moon, a crowd of friends to which I wave goodbye I leave the northwest countryside behind and head toward the waves to live out dreams that only flourish in my mind high pressure low on the evening air I travel light, the perfect midnight, off to who knows where I breathe in deep, I'm flying with the kites I never felt myself, but maybe this will just work out alright I leave the northwest countryside behind and head toward the waves to live out dreams that only flourish in my mind I'm following my call, I love you all and one day I'll return a bigger person breathe in, walk tall

somewhere new I'll be free staying true to my beliefs somewhere new I'll make new friends and everything will work out in the end I'm headed south to see the ocean headed south to start again I've never seen so many people never gazed upon the waves oh, bless my hourglass! I'm supposed to fly around I hope I don't look too conspicuous when I finally touch down if this is meant to be, if it's here I'm meant to land I'll be accepted for who I am somewhere new I'll be free staying true to my beliefs somewhere new I'll make new friends and everything will work out in the end I'll set up shop in this new city have a view down to the sea I'll buy some things that make me think of home and I'll buy them just for me I don't know what the future holds but I'm still full of hope I'll keep it all together 'cause there's so far left to go if this is meant to be, if it's here I'm meant to land I'll smile and offer out a helping hand somewhere new I'll be free staying true to my beliefs somewhere new I'll make new friends and everything will work out in the end I'll travel by the stars until I finally settle down I'll reignite the magic and I'll be so loud I don't care if I'm naive my heart stays firmly on my sleeve somewhere new I'll be free staying true to my beliefs somewhere new I'll make new friends and everything will work out in the end somewhere new I'll be free staying true to my beliefs somewhere new I'll make new friends and everything will work out in the end

you can't outpace the rain you can't keep on delaying growing older in this city full of shadows the streets are lined with cobblestones a causeway from the ocean to the sky you feel you're gonna die you're falling like a comet to the ground you say you've lost your magic, or just the will to speak out loud you want to go out but you've got nothing to wear you want to be free but you can't take to the air but anything's possible when you feel better are you feeling better now? they can't quite understand they can't see why you can't find somewhere else to land it's better sitting by the beach but everything's just out of reach you don't know what to do, so you just sigh and say "I wish I could fly" you sit around the house a little while and think about the things that made you want to start this brave new life you want to go out but you've got nothing to wear you want to be free but you can't take to the air but anything's possible when you feel better are you feeling better now? are you feeling better? are you feeling better now? one day I'll find my magic one day I won't be absent one day I know I'll smile again I want to go out but I've got nothing to wear I want to be free but I can't take to the air but anything's possible when I feel better

Aviation 03:20
spirit of freedom, spirit of hope I am at the end of my rope I've dreamt for so long about flying and now that I am I feel I'm gonna croak spirit of freedom, spirit of dreams how long I've longed to be aimless and clean a ripple of cirrus just aimlessly drifting to sea dirigibles float and they take to the sky we wanted to leave but never knew why knowing my luck I'd depart just as hope would arrive aviation I always dreamt of being someone else aviation I never thought all that much of myself until you arrived spirit of freedom, spirit of life spirit of everything blissful and light I've spent so long ignoring the blessings but focused on strife spirit of freedom, spirit of man all that I wanted was something to hold in my hands and now that I'm falling I think that I understand the weather may change, the clouds blow away a desperate signal is heard from the bay I look for my friends, and see them all there with their eyes full of freedom and fear aviation I always dreamt of being someone else aviation I never thought all that much of myself aviation I always dreamt of being someone else aviation I never thought all that much of myself until you arrived

Crow Song 02:16
I lost my way but found myself among the glowing alder leaves when I felt I could finally ask for help a labyrinth of gold and green branches, crows and chestnut shells a place I hoped I'd finally go unseen be who you are, and don't care what people think I repeat my benediction the wind howls through my ears I feel at home here the geese call out a melody resounding in the people's key a smile of recognition I can't hide where nature thrives, I do too unapologetic, true I'll never be ashamed for what's inside be who you are, and don't care what people think I repeat my benediction the wind howls through my ears I feel at home here
