this is a hard song to write about. its about a lot of things really. the first half is about 3 people i love and how talking to them keeps me sane. the second half is about wishing i'd done things differently. it had to follow keep calm and carry on as they have similar themes and are about similar times. i'd been inspired by car seat headrest a lot on this one, especially nervous young man, especially especially don't remind me and broken birds.
